If he can be halfway good at BJJ, so can you. Rob is a crappy athlete, and he's not even that bright. What he can do is study obsessively to figure out systems and how to break them. And since he's done all the legwork for you, it won't even require as much effort as he put in.

Rob dedicated himself (it's not difficult to be dedicated when you have no social life) to figuring out the conceptual underpinnings of grappling, learning the best methods used by the elite of the sport, and familiarizing himself with cutting edge cognitive learning strategies, pedagogy, and sport skill acquisition.

The result of that dedication is this website, and a bunch of BJJ practitioners around the world who have followed his approach or sought him out as a coach. Yuri Simoes brought him in to help train for his ADCC victories. Bill Cooper brought him in to update his game when he returned to the modern competition scene. Darin Conner De Angelis studies his concepts to help improve his BJJ. He even made idiots like Rory Van Vliet and Matt Kwan into decent black belts.
